CNSD-2016 Call for Papers
The tenth Conference on Nonlinear Systems and Dynamics (CNSD-2016) will be held from 16th to 18th December, 2016 (from Friday to Sunday) at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata.
The conference will cover all topics in nonlinear systems and dynamics. It will consist of the following components.
Planery talks
Mini-symposiums
Oral presentations
Interactive sessions (poster presentations and demonstration of experiments and computer programs).
Awards will be given to three best posters/demonstrations presented by students. In such posters the student must be the first author.
Paper Submission:
Researchers interested in presenting their work are requested to submit a one-page abstract as per the format given. The submissions can be of the following categories:
Papers reporting fresh research work, not reported elsewhere. The extended abstract should clearly state the original contribution.
Papers published recently (or accepted for publication) in a refereed journal. Authors may present the content of such papers at the Conference. The one-page abstract should clearly give reference to the published paper.
One may also express interest to demonstrate an experiment or a computer program developed by a research group. The abstract should clearly state the novelty of the experiment or software.
The organizing committee may reject submissions if the originality of the work is not clear from the abstract.
The submission must be online, strictly as per the format given in the template files. The use of LaTeX is strongly encouraged. MSWord is also allowed (please make the resulting pdf output look like the template file given below). But papers composed in other composition formats (like Pagemaker etc.) will not be accepted. The length of the abstract should normally be restricted to 1 page. If it is not possible to describe the novelty within a page, a 2-page submission is also allowed.
Mini-Symposiums:
The Mini-Symposiums will comprise presentation of four papers focused on a specific area. Researchers are encouraged to submit proposals for Mini-Symposiums (a brief writeup on the chosen area with a proposed list of speakers, to be emailed to cnsd@iiserkol.ac.in). If the proposal is approved, the organizer of the Mini-Symposium will invite the proposed speakers to submit abstracts and to present their work at the conference.
Proceedings:
The Proceedings of the Conference, comprising the abstracts of the presentations, will be published online. Abstracts will be included in the Proceedings only if the paper is physically presented in the Conference.
