The sixth National Conference on Nonlinear Systems and Dynamics (NCNSD-2011) will be held from 27 to 30 January, 2011 (from Thursday to Sunday) at Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu.The conference will cover all topics in nonlinear systems and dynamics.
The conference will consist of the following components.
- Planery talks.
- Oral and poster presentations.
- Interactive sessions (Actual demonstration of experiments).
- Papers for interactive session.
- Awards will be given to three best posters presented by students. In such
posters the student must be the first author.
Researchers working in the field of nonlinear science are eligible to participate and present their research findings in the conference. Registration can be made either through online via NCNSD website or by sending the duly filled-in registration form available in the same website to the conference e-mail ID. The number of participants will be limited to 150.
The Proceedings of the conference will be published online as in the case of
previous conferences. In addition, invited talks and full papers of oral and poster
presentations will be published as a hard copy by a reputed publisher. Only those
papers (oral and poster) presented in person in the conference will appear in the
Proceedings. All the papers presented (oral and poster) in the conference will be
subjected to peer review. Manuscript must be typeset as per the format given in
the template files (which can be downloaded from the website of NCNSD) using
LaTeX/RevTeX. The length of the manuscript should be restricted to 8,4,2 pages in
the case of invited planery talks, oral presentations, and posters respectively. In
the case of a paper to be presented in the conference which has been recently
published (2010) or has been accepted for publication in a journal, the author
should submit a one page brief and mention in which journal it has been published
or has been accepted for publication. Authors of oral and poster presentations
should submit an abstract of the presentation while registering for the conference.
The online proceedings will contain one-page brief.

As the University does not have adequate Guest House facility, most of the participants will have to be accommodated in moderate to good hotels in the downtown. Keeping this in mind, Registration Fees for Indian and foreign participants/ students will be as follows.
- Indian Participants : INR 1500
- Indian Student Participants : INR 1000
- Foreign Participants : USD 400
- Foreign Student Participants : USD 200
To avoid procedural problem in the university, the Registration Fee will be collected only at the time of the conference.
